2009 Nationals Mt Martha YC
Mt Martha YC has been accepted by the APTCA as the venue for the next National Titles. The club is beautifully situated on Port Phillip Bay about one hour’s drive SE of Melbourne, with a wide sandy beach.
Proposed dates are 28 December 2008 – 5 January 2009 inclusive.
Because it is a premium holiday destination for Melbourne and beyond, accommodation arrangements need to be made as early as possible. There are three 4‑star caravan parks, including cabins, within about 15 minutes drive of the club, at nearby Dromana. These are:

A very nice Caravan/Cabin park located about 10k from Mt Martha Sailing Club at the back of Mornington. The individual sites are surrounded by hedges which give them a private touch. The park has all the usual amenities. The Park appears quite and is close to the Mornington shopping centre.

Holiday house rentals should be readily available as an alternative; Google for agents in Mt Martha, Safety Beach, Dromana and Mornington.
An alternative camping ground is available at the Scout campground on the hill overlooking Mt Martha. Powered sites are available in an open bush setting at low cost, although the shower and toilet facilities are pretty basic – contact Alan White on (03) 9803 1383 before the end of this February.
