THE HATED PROTECTOR -Mount Rouse & District Historical Society wish to express our warmest thanks to Lindsey Arkley for allowing us to upload our president's BRIAN O'BRIEN recently published article in the Hamilton Spectator about the SBS journalist Lindsey Arkley's book The Hated Protector. The book, subtitled The Story of Charles Sievwright protector of aborigines 1839-42 is published by Orbit Press, Melbourne 2000, and costs $39.
