Good News:
More new members- one new Full  Member who was an Associate Member and 2 new Associate Members  recently.

Five new members were admitted to the Society, in  August 2005.

The Society's archives include photographs and slides of member's work, past and present.
A lending library of art books is available to members.
Attend lectures demonstrations, media workshops and regular life and portrait workshops
The Society meets each Thursday in East Melbourne.
Monthly News Bulletin
Greeting Cards  featuring  paintings by past members: AME Bale, Ethel Carrick Fox, Anne Montgomery and Peggy Crombie which are available at  very good prices.
The Society  wishes to update the archives - members and friends - please submit items relating to your exhibitions-  especially: newspaper clippings, photographs, catalogues, invitations to exhibitions, brochures,  etc., also items relating to past members. 
You are also invited to have a page on this web site- see "GALLERY".
Becoming a Member
Applicants for membership are required to submit examples of their work to the Committee for assessment before being accepted as a full member. 

People seeking Associate Membership are not required to submit work.
Associate members are entitled to participate in all aspects of the Society, including receiving the monthly News Bulletin, the exception being that they are not permitted to exhibit in the Annual Exhibition, but can exhibit in any other minor exhibition that the Society may arrange.
