Nada Hunter
Nada was born at Donald,
Victoria. Died 2005 Melbourne.
Training... 1940s and 50s
mainly informal and consisted of once weekly evening classes at various
technical schools [my employers, the government, kept shunting me around
the scenery].
Later 1950s ... I took myself
off to Paris on different occasions ... about twelve months in all. There
I attended a studio every morning. The instruction was negligible but the
frenetic art activity in the city in general is such that one absorbs a
great deal by osmosis.
Of recent decades I have
worked one morning a week at the Victorian Artists' Society.
