Manningham Bicycle Users Group (often simply called "Manningham Cyclists") is a group of cyclists who organise rides, campaign for improved facilities for cyclists and generally promote cycling in the area.
What is the typical profile of a BUG member? Well, on our mailing list we have people aged from 16 to over 60 and all ages in between. We have single people, parents, children, and grandparents. Some of us ride around the park every few months, some ride a couple of times each month, a few ride each week to work or shops or for leisure.
The BUG is not a competitive club, it is a means for cyclists to get together to share their interest. We have social rides on Wednesdays and most weekends; usually daytrips but occasionally 2 days or more. We have a meeting on the third Monday of each month at 8p.m. at the Pancake Parlor at 550 Doncaster Rd. Our monthly newsletter lists upcoming rides and news relating to cycling.
