Please
do not feed the Ducks at Gardiner's Creek Reserve - or
any other reserve
· When fed too often, ducks become tame and are easy
prey for predators, such as foxes and unleashed dogs
· Ducks engorged with bread often eat insufficient
natural food, and become malnourished
· Uneaten bread attracts vermin, such as rats and
foxes
· Uneaten bread sinks to the bottom and pollutes our
creek
