The Dairy Goat Society has several recognised awards for Does some of these are:
Australian Champion Doe is awarded to a doe who gains 100 show points under three different judges and holds a *, Q*, *Q* or R105 or F105.
* (star) is awarded for milk quantity and butterfat per cent not less than 3%. A doe must gain 11 points to qualify.
Q* Award this is awarded to a doe who gives not less than 3 kilograms of milk and 3.5% butterfat in a 24 hour recorded period. The doe is also awarded time points for days in milk.
A *Q* award is for quantity of milk over 11 points as well as butterfat percent.
DM Dam Of Merit awarded to a doe who has 3 daughters who have produced R90/F90 or higher or a *Q*, Q* or * awards.
LP is the lifetime production of a doe and this must be recorded over 6000 kgs of milk.
Prefix R is for milk yield over 900 kgs in a Recorded lactation. Prefix F is for Farmer sampling.
