Dear Shannon!
I am sorry to read about your PROM baby, but there are
good hopes as you have come this far!!!
I was 23 weeks + 6 days when my membranes ruptured with Anton.
I was told that I would lose my baby, but nothing happened, and
I was put at bedrest for 7 more weeks.
Anton was born after he kicked one leg out (!) and
they did an emergency C-section, weighing 4 lbs. I didnīt have any infections,
and I am glad I was that lucky!
This Forum was a lifeline for me while at bedrest.
Since that I have e-mailed with several "PROM women"
and one of them expected triplets and one of the sacs ruptured.
That was a happy ending story too, and my Anton is now 1― years and
are doing great!
So HANG IN THERE and HAVE HOPE!
I know it is a scary situation, but cling on to the possibility of
being in bed for some more weeks. There is not much to do
when things do start to happen, so whatever happens donīt blame yourself!
I have tried to collect some PROM info at my "PROM Page"
if you want to read more PROM Stories:

Good Luck to you from another "PROM Queen"
