Hi Ron,
My Desiree was born at 25 weeks on May 15, 1997. She was diagnosed with a case of moderate BPD on day 23 of life. She was also fighting pnemonia at the same time. As far as her BPD goes, she has done very well with it. Last winter (her first one), she had colds throughout the entire winter. I made many trips to the doc...being the nervous mom that I am, but she came through every cold just fine. Her BPD has not caused a problem since she was in the NICU. Knock on wood.
Good luck! I hope Caitlin is doing alright with her pnemonia. We all know how "strong" the little ones can be.
