Australian Lesbian and Gay Archives Young Gay and Proud; Homosexuality Be In it
History prize
The Archives award a cash prize for the best undergraduate, fourth year (or equivalent) honors thesis deposited with us each year.

The thesis must deal with gay, lesbian, bisexual, transgender or queer themes, and may be in any academic discipline. Applications are accepted without regard to a student's sexuality, sexual orientation or identity.

Past winners have come from as far afield as Victoria, Western Australia and Queensland and addressed topics such as workplace culture, domestic violence, Japanese gay identities and late-Victorian sex scandals. The range of topics in theses submitted for the prize reaches from Jeanette Winterson and Keanu Reeves, to the Dolphin Motor Cycle Club, the architecture of beats, and attitudes of Chinese students in Australia towards homosexuality.
